MANAUS
HEART OF THE AMAZON
MANAUS
What is the city like?
Manaus is located in the middle of the Amazon rainforest,
and access to the city is primarily through boat or airplane. This isolation
helped preserve both the nature as well as the culture of the city. The culture
of Manaus, more than in any other urban area of Brazil, preserves the habits of
Native Brazilian tribes.
The city is the main entrance to visit the fauna and flora of the Brazilian Amazon.
Few places in the world afford such a variety of plants, birds, insects, and
fishes.
What is the weather like?
The months January, February, March,
April and May have a nice average temperature.
On average, the temperatures are always
high.
A lot of rain (rainy season) falls in the
months: January, February, March, April, May, June, October, November and
December.

strong position of freshwater fish, forest spices (jambú

My profile / personal presentation
Hi, my name is Augustus and to start telling about my personality, let me start telling you about my own personal commitment with education. I have been passionate
in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student
performance, inspiring students’ interest on English Language and raising a
sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to
each of these pursuits. I am always searching for new opportunities. Thank you for your interest and consideration. I look forward to be hearing from you.
The 4th of July
Then me and my family went to the central square to watch it. There was just a little mistake. We took Muffin to the firework show with us. And as soon as it started Muffin got crazy and fled on the suburbs direction. Well.. we spent the rest of the night trying to catch it. So this is the fourth of july lesson: Never take a pet to a fireworks display. Even the most even tempered animals can spook - and bolt! - at unfamiliar, loud noises.
And it's not as if we can explain to them what they're about to experience - all they would understand is that sudden, frightening loud noises are assaulting their tender ears! So don't do that.
And it's not okay to leave your pet in the car while attending a fireworks display, either. While the temperature outside is a comfortable 80 degrees, the temperature inside your car could reach as high as 120 - and this can prove fatal to your pet.

The Beach Trip
Let me tell you something.. Shark attacks, though rare, are most likely to occur near shore,
typically inshore of a sandbar or between sandbars, where sharks can
become trapped by low tide, and near steep drop offs where shark’s prey
gather. The relative risk of a shark attack is very small, but the
risks should always be minimized whenever possible. To reduce your risk. Let's play play on shore. So we decided to stay safe and just dip on shalow waters.
Finding Muffin
When we got to the playground we were surprised by what we saw. Muffin was very well and to be blunt it surprised me a lot the scene in front of me. My dog was literally playing basketball with some guys from the block. Acctually, whenever he had a chance he would jump into the ball and sometimes the ball did hit basket. It was amazing! Everyone in the court or playground seemed to be having fun. There was, gobsmacked by the outgoing personnality of my dog. I let it roll for quite a while then I call him. He was so obsessed with the ball it took me a bit of time to get him home.
